The second night of the historic Takeover event is as stacked as the first cuminating with what is going to be an epic fight between two friends now bitter rivals in the Undisputed Era and Karrion Kross trying to reclaim the NXT title which he had to vacate six months ago to injury against Finn Balor.

Johnny Gargano (c) vs. TBD Winner of the Gauntlet Eliminator

Johnny Takeover has to defend his North American title against the winner of the Elimination Gauntlet from night one, this gives Gargango little time to prepare for this match but also he will come into this match fresher than his opponent; he always delivers and steals the show in these big events.

You can read my prediction for night one here: https://gorillapressonline.wordpress.com/2021/04/06/nxt-takeover-stand-and-deliver-night-one-predictions/.

I think this will boil down to Dexter Lumis vs Johnny Gargano with the two having some history on NXT and if this prediction is correct I foresee a tough challenge for Gargano with him dropping the belt.

Dexter Lumis to win.

Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart (c) vs. The Way (Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell)

Night Two could prove to be a very difficult night for The Way. Candice and Indi have one hell of a challenge in front of them against the red hot team of Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon.

Moon and Blackheart are a newly formed tag team and although The Way have more experience as a team the current champs aren’t going to relinquish this title that easily and I can see them leaving takeover with the titles in hand. Plus they come to the ring in a tank! How cool is that?

Shotzi & Ember to Retain.

Jordan Devlin (c) vs. Santos Escobar (c)

HBK sowed the seeds to turn this match into a ladder match and what better way to determine who is the rightful Cruiserweight champion?

Santos Escobar was crowned NXT Cruiserweight champion while Devlin was stuck in the UK due to the global pandemic. NXT forgot to strip him of said title and now the two champions clash for the claim to the championship.

Legado Del Fantasma leader Santos Escobar is an incredible talent in NXT and will climb to the top of the ladder to dethrone the Irish Ace in what is going to be a tremendous and fast paced bout.

Whereas Legado won’t be draped with all the gold in their tag bout on Night One I can foresee Escobar retaining his gold here.

Santos Escobar to win and retain his Cruiserweight belt.

Finn Balor (c) vs. Karrion Kross

Finn Balor has held the NXT Championship for over 6 months and doesn’t want to let this title go since moving back down to the yellow and black brand Balor has found his footing once more and is bringing his A game to ever match he is in and looks a lot happier in doing so.

It’s going to take something special to dethrone the champ here and Karrion Kross is going to have to stop at nothing to get what he wants, Although Kross is a formidable opponent and will hold the gold in NXT in the future I don’t think takeover is going to be his night.

No matter who wins this match, we all win as alongside the main event of this night this has the potential to be the best match of Mania week overall.

Finn Balor to win.

Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly

All Eyes will be on this night two closer, The tensions in the Undisputed Era reached boiling point in an excellent fight in O’Reilly’s BJJ Gym with Cole bringing the fight outside of the Capitol Wrestling Centre.

The build up to this match has been immense, I highly recommend you check out the NXT hype package they played on last weeks sho, incredibly edited and present piece of television and it added leaps and bounds to this already mouthwatering matchup.

Kyle O’Reilly has a lot to prove here against Adam Cole and is going to stop at nothing to prove to the whole NXT universe that he belongs in the main event picture and what better way then to take out Cole and prove he doesn’t need the UE to be the best.

Expect these two to go at it and leave it all out there in a bloody, violent match which has boiled over to the point that the only way NXT would allow it to happen was if it was unsanctioned.

Like the Balor/Kross match this could be the highlight of the whole weekend and I would be surprised if every wrestling wasn’t discussing this for years to come.

Kyle O’Reilly to prove he has what it takes and beat Adam Cole.

That closes the NXT Predictions and keep an eye out for Wrestlemania predictions and all the results over the next few days of this stacked week!.
