Under siege 2021 takes place on the 15th May on Impact Plus, the card is pretty stacked and the main event will shape the future of the Impact Heavyweight Championship determining Kenny Omega’s next challenger.
#1 Contenders 6 way Match for the Impact World Championship: Chris Bey Vs. Matt Cardona Vs. Moose Vs. Sami Callihan Vs. Chris Sabin Vs. Trey Miguel
This is an exciting prospect of match and all six men have a legitimate claim to the title shot, honestly there isn’t one outcome which I would feel disappointed in but the recently returned Moose is my pick for this one. Hopefully some of the fallout of the action will start some fresh feuds amongst the losers.
Moose To Win.
Knockout’s Championship Match: Deonna Purrazzo Vs. Havok
Havok looked impressive in the #1 contenders match on this weeks Impact and the aftermath altercation with the champ, it would be nice to see her get the title but I don’t think its time for Purrazzo to drop the belt yet.
Deonna Purrazzo to retain.
Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) Vs. FinJuice (David Finlay & Juice Robinson) & Eddie Edwards.
This will be a fun match with Omega and the Good Brothers stopping at nothing to win, expect underhanded tactics and some fun heel spots, I am also looking forward to Eddie Edwards and Kenny Omega facing off as they could have a great singles bout.
Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers to win.
X-Division Championship Match: Josh Alexander (c) Vs El Phantasmo
ELP has had a great debut run so far and this could be match of the night; again I think its too early for Alexander to lose the belt but this could be an possibility and this would cement the massive push for ELP and bring even more eyes on the X-Division. Josh Alexander is fantastic and these two will put on one hell of a show.
El Phantasmo to win the X-Division Belt.
Knockouts Women’s Tag Title match: Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering (c) Vs Fire ‘N Flava
Fire ‘N Flava get another shot to try and reclaim the gold here against the newly formed Grace & Ellering and this is another match that’ll be too early in a reign to switch up the titles.
Grace & Ellering to retain.
Brian Myers Vs Black Taurus
This match has had a fun build up with Decay leaving Tarot cards on the fallen Myers after he bested them in bouts over the past few weeks of Impact. I think Decay will get involved and get the win against Brian Myers tonight.
Black Taurus to win
Willie Mack Vs W. Morrissey
Can’t see past W Morrissey winning this one, Impact could really build him as an unstoppable giant and a clean and easy win against Willie Mack would be a good step for this to continue. The angle of Morrissey having to prove himself because of his past tenure in WWE etc. is a captivating angle and an easy set up for him to cement himself in the Impact roster.
W. Morrissey to win.
Kimber Lee & Susan Vs. Taylor Wilde & Tenille Dashwood
Can see Dashwood turning on Wilde during this match and costing this team the win and furthering the fact that they aren’t friends, this will certainly play out over the match with Dashwood trying to cheat to win and Wilde stopping her in what could be a fun tag match.
Kimber Lee & Susan to win.
Impact Tag titles #1 contenders Match: TJP & Petey Williams Vs. Rohit Raju & Shera Vs XXXL (Acey Romero & Larry D Vs Ace Austin & Mad Man Fulton
This is another promising multi team tag match which will be filled with high spots and frantic pacing, the impressive Williams & TJP could be potential standouts but my pick for this is Rohit Raju & Shera, These two have been a great pairing getting involved in each others bouts and it would be nice to see them having a tag championship run
Rohit Raju & Shera to win
Plenty of things at stake in this event which will start to shape up the road to slammiversary my only fear is that with as many matches on the card the bouts won’t have time to develop and flourish but overall this looks like a great card and will be available to stream live on Impact Plus.
